Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to master food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure quality, safety, and a clean, well-stocked kitchen and support teamwork to deliver excellent customer experiences.

The role emphasizes promoting teamwork, staying on your feet during shifts, and driving station goals while mentoring Crew members and maintaining high food standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, perform core kitchen tasks.
• Cook and prep food to order while maintaining quality and safety.
• Monitor food waste and inventory, resolving quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, organized and well stocked; maintain equipment.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries and accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO tasks.
