Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to guide food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, ensure quality and safety, and keep a clean, well-stocked kitchen while modeling teamwork for a great customer experience.

You will monitor inventory, support back- and front-of-house collaboration, and help Crew grow. A high school diploma and restaurant experience are required, with opportunities for advancement and competitive

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Restaurant experience preferred.
Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve food quality issues.
Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew.
Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
Ensure kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
Maintain kitchen equipment and arrange repairs as needed.
Ensure the kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation.
