Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and perform food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, stocked, and that equipment is maintained to deliver delicious food and a great customer experience.

Role emphasizes teamwork, fast-paced operation, and adherence to Chipotle’s standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great customer service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned, sanitized and well maintained.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Maintain MSDS and FIFO procedures.
