Chipotle Mexican Grill in Andover, MN is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, ensuring the food is absolutely delicious. You’ll order the food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

The Kitchen Leader helps ensure quality and safety of Chipotle's food daily, keeps the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked, and mentors Crew members to become future leaders while promoting teamwork and an excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy and communicate in work location language.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order, following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory, resolving quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair; repair as needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
