Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to oversee food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables to deliver delicious meals while enforcing kitchen procedures and safety standards.

You will train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders, supervise inventory and quality control, and ensure a clean, well-stocked kitchen that supports a strong back- and front-of-house team. This role emphasizes teamwork and delivering a great guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order and follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair; repair as needed.
• Ensure the kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
