Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food preparation, ensure quality and safety, and train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will manage food orderings, monitor inventory, and support both back-of-house and front-of-house teams to deliver a great customer experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, hands-on cooking, and maintaining a clean, well‑stocked kitchen.

Qualifications

• Must understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Must be able to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Must have a high school diploma.
• Must have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality, waste, and inventory; resolve issues.
• Support a strong back-of-house and front-of-house team dynamic.
• Develop Crew members to become Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is well‑maintained and repaired when needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
