Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train staff, cook to order, and oversee kitchen operations. You will promote teamwork, ensure food quality, and maintain safety standards while guiding Crew members toward becoming future Kitchen Leaders.

The role emphasizes hands-on food preparation, inventory monitoring, and collaboration across back-of-house and front-of-house teams to deliver a great guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Maintain and quickly repair kitchen equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and manage FIFO inventory.
