Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure food quality, safety, and teamwork across the kitchen, maintaining cleanliness and efficiency to deliver a superior guest experience.

You’ll lead by example, manage stock and equipment, and help Crew members grow into leadership roles, with a focus on safety and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle’s policies and procedures while cooking and prepping food to order.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve food quality issues.
• Support back-of-house and front-of-house teamwork for a great guest experience.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked; ensure equipment is maintained.
