Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to guide food preparation, grill meats, and train Crew toward future Kitchen Leaders. You’ll ensure quality, safety, and stock, maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and equipment in good condition while modeling teamwork and delivering a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location (English).
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies and procedures; ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew into future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers for great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked; maintain equipment.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO inventory tasks.
