Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader to learn and oversee food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You’ll ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced kitchen and help maintain stocked, clean, and well-maintained facilities.

The role emphasizes teamwork and delivering a great customer experience, with opportunities to advance. A high school diploma and restaurant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies and procedures; cook and prep food to order and follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels; resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized; maintain equipment.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation.
