Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and master food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure quality, safety, and a great customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean, stocked, and well maintained, while promoting teamwork and excellent service. Previous restaurant experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Food handling and preparation to order.
• Train and develop Crew into future Kitchen Leaders.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers for great service.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized and well stocked; maintain equipment.
• Ensure injury prevention guidelines are followed.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation.
