Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to guide food preparation, ensure quality, and train Crew for future leadership.

You will grill meats, sauté vegetables, and maintain a kitchen that is organized, clean, and stocked while upholding Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy. You will foster teamwork, ensure safety, and deliver a great guest experience by mentoring Crew, managing inventory, and following MSDS and FIFO procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to lead a team.
• Excellent communication with Crew and customers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to order following procedures.
• Monitor waste and inventory levels; resolve quality issues.
• Support team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitized.
• Monitor equipment and ensure it is in good repair; address malfunctions quickly.
• Ensure kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and manage FIFO inventory.
