Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to oversee food preparation, quality control, and team development in our fast-paced environment. You will train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and inventory management. A high school diploma and restaurant experience are preferred.

The role emphasizes teamwork, delivering a great guest experience, and maintaining equipment and Kitchen procedures to standard.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned, sanitized, and equipment maintained.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO tasks as required.
