Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food preparation, maintain safety and cleanliness, and train Crew members for future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure quality, manage inventory, and support throughput while modeling teamwork and excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes food safety, equipment upkeep, and upholding Chipotle’s standards across the dining area. A high school diploma and restaurant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized properly.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is maintained and repaired quickly.
• Ensure kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
