Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and master cooking, grilling, and sautéing great food while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders. You will ensure food quality, safety, and a clean, organized kitchen and help manage inventory and staff effectiveness.

You will role-model teamwork and deliver a superior customer experience, keeping the kitchen running smoothly and promoting Chipotle’s values and Food With Integrity philosophy in every shift.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order and follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
• Ensure equipment is in good repair and functioning.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO tasks as required.
