Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while maintaining quality and safety standards. You’ll order supplies, train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, and promote teamwork to deliver a great customer experience.

The role focuses on keeping the kitchen clean, well‑stocked, and properly maintained, and involves hands‑on leadership with Crew members on a fast-paced line.

Qualifications

• Have the ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables.
• Order the food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Help ensure the quality and safety of Chipotle’s food every day.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized and well stocked; maintain equipment.
• Serve as a role model for Crew members and promote teamwork.
