Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will order food and train others to become future Kitchen Leaders while promoting teamwork and a great customer experience.

You will ensure food quality, safe kitchen practices, and cleanliness, while supporting Crew development and throughput. The role emphasizes leadership and hands-on cooking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Restaurant experience required
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures
• Monitor food quality and inventory
• Train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders
• Promote teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation
• Maintain equipment and safe operation of the kitchen
• Ensure MSDS and FIFO processes are followed
