Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You will train others to become future Kitchen Leaders and ensure quality and safety of Chipotle’s food daily.

You’ll keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked while maintaining equipment in good condition. The role promotes teamwork and a great customer experience, with a strong emphasis on following policies and procedures and mentoring Crew

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked; ensure equipment is maintained.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation.
