Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring every dish is delicious. You will supervise food quality, stock, safety, and crew training to build future leaders and a strong team.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Strong spoken, written, and understanding of the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Following Chipotle policies and procedures to cook and prep food to order.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen is clean, sanitized, and well stocked; equipment maintained and repaired when needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO records.
