Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, while training Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will help ensure the quality and safety of Chipotle’s delicious food daily and promote teamwork across the kitchen and dining areas. As a Kitchen Leader, you’ll be busy on your feet, supporting a fast-paced operation, and upholding Chipotle’s standards for fresh ingredients and exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies and procedures to prepare food to order.
• Maintain food quality, monitor waste and inventory, and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked; ensure equipment is maintained.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO tasks.
