Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and master food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring delicious, safe food. You will order ingredients and train Crew for future Kitchen Leaders, promoting teamwork and a great customer experience.

As a Kitchen Leader, you’ll supervise quality, cleanliness, and stock levels, keep equipment in good repair, and model teamwork on busy shifts. The role emphasizes safety and efficient kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, and resolve food quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house teams.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Ensure kitchen is clean, sanitized and well stocked.
