Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train Crew, prepare great food, and ensure quality and safety standards in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee the kitchen, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while promoting teamwork and delivering a great guest experience.

You’ll supervise both back-of-house and front-of-house activities, mentor future Kitchen Leaders, and maintain a clean, well-stocked, and safe kitchen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order and following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and proper sanitation; ensure equipment is kept in good repair.
