Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in the United States is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables. You will order supplies, train Crew members, and ensure quality and safety across the kitchen while modeling teamwork and delivering a great customer experience.

You will help maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked kitchen and assist in keeping equipment in good repair.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience is required.
• High school diploma required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion food according to order; follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food quality and inventory, manage waste.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and safe to use.
• Assist with MSDS and FIFO documentation.
