Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to oversee food prep and quality, lead a fast-paced kitchen, and train future Kitchen Leaders. You’ll ensure the kitchen operates safely, cleanly, and efficiently while upholding Chipotle’s standards for taste and integrity.

You will manage tasks, collaborate with Crew members, and drive exceptional customer experiences through teamwork and operation excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.
• Ability to understand and articulate Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Support teamwork between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure service.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor equipment and arrange repairs when needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation.
