Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to guide food preparation and team development in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will train Crew, ensure quality and safety, and maintain a clean, efficient kitchen that supports a great guest experience.

You will lead by example, manage inventory, and collaborate with front- and back-of-house staff to meet daily goals and uphold Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to order according to Chipotle procedures.
• Monitor inventory and food waste; keep kitchen stocked and organized.
• Lead and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitize equipment and surfaces.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Improve teamwork between back-of-house and front-of-house crews.
• Oversee MSDS handling and FIFO inventory practices.
• Drive customer service and throughput with effective communication.
• Keep equipment in good repair and participate in task shifting as needed.
