Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to train and lead Crew, prepare quality food, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen. You’ll order food, train future Kitchen Leaders, and promote teamwork to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities include managing food quality, inventory, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance while fostering a positive work environment and exceptional service at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Understand Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Ability to speak, write, and understand the work location language.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked.
• Maintain and repair kitchen equipment as needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO inventory documentation.
