Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is hiring a Kitchen Leader to learn and lead food prep, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You’ll order ingredients, train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, and model teamwork to deliver a great guest experience.

You will help keep the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked, maintain equipment, and uphold safety standards. The role emphasizes food quality, customer service, and collaboration with back-of-house and front-of-house teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Restaurant experience
• Ability to promote teamwork and training of Crew

Responsibilities

• Follow policies and procedures; ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order
• Monitor inventory and food waste; resolve quality issues
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders
• Communicate with Crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation
• Maintain and repair equipment; address malfunctions
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries
• Complete MSDS and FIFO documentation
