Job summary

Joe's Pizza and Pasta Edwardsville is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the Kitchen Manager, oversee daily line operations, and ensure a fast-paced environment runs smoothly while delivering quality meals.

You will lead a dedicated team, train new hires, manage prep lists and inventory, and uphold health and safety standards, so guests experience consistently excellent service during every shift.

Responsibilities

• Support the Kitchen Manager: Assist in overseeing kitchen operations, manage staff, and ensure seamless workflow.
• Lead by Example: Work on the line, expedite orders when necessary, and set the standard for quality and efficiency.
• Ensure Top-Notch Food Quality: Guarantee that every dish leaving the kitchen meets our high-quality standards.
• Train and Mentor the Team: Help onboard new hires and keep the kitchen staff motivated and informed.
• Stay Organized and Problem-Solve: Manage inventory, prep lists, and address any operational issues that arise.
• Maintain Health and Safety Standards: Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment for all team members.
