Job summary

Major Food Group is seeking experienced Event Line Cooks to join our team at THE GRILL in New York. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality, timing, and station setup align with service requirements.

Two years of high-volume or fine dining experience is preferred, and a Culinary Diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred. Competitive benefits are offered including health insurance and tuition reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
