Major Food Group is hiring experienced Event Line Cooks to join THE GRILL, a historic midcentury New York chophouse noted for elegant, table-side service and signature preparations.

You will set up stations, prepare dishes, and cook items with the kitchen team, ensuring high quality and timely service. The role offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits in New York City.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential.
• Team-oriented and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Culinary training or equivalent experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies.
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions.
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
• Stock inventory appropriately.
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
