Job summary

City Barbeque is seeking an Assistant General Manager/Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure top-quality, safely prepared foods. You will manage line efficiency, forecasting, and staff performance to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will hire and train teammates, supervise shifts, and coordinate with the front of house to maintain high service standards while controlling costs and inventory.

• Maintain staffing levels per shift.
• Lead training for new product rollouts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations and ensure food quality and safety.
• Forecast inventory and orders to meet demand while controlling waste.
• Manage kitchen staff performance and conduct timely feedback.
• Collaborate with FOH to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Monitor adherence to recipes, portions, and portion control.
• Lead shifts and optimize scheduling to meet business needs.
