Job summary
Marmic Fire & Safety is hiring a Fire Extinguisher Technician Helper to assist the Kitchen Systems/Extinguisher Technician with inspection, testing, servicing, and installation of portable extinguishers and kitchen suppression systems. You will support on-site testing, maintenance, and reporting in a fast-paced field environment.
The role requires strong work ethic, willingness to learn NFPA standards, and a customer‑orientated approach.
Qualifications
- Must have strong work ethics.
- Detail oriented problem solvers, professional attitude, reliable.
- Excellent customer service provided by communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to interact with employees and customers in a professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Riding and going to job sites with assigned Technician.
- Assist inspection and repair of fire extinguishers and kitchen suppression systems.
- Understand NFPA codes for restaurant fire suppression and extinguishers; assist on-site troubleshooting.
- Prepare accurate inspection reports with customer signatures and timely submission.
