Job summary

Willoughby Post Acute is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal service in our kitchen. You will set up meal trays, assist with serving meals, strip returned trays and start washing dishes, and help keep the kitchen clean and sanitary throughout each shift.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a food handlers’ certificate. You must be able to read and follow recipes and procedures, work with others, and perform basic math as needed. Pay is $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a food handlers’ certificate.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and procedures.
• Ability to apply basic math concepts (fractions, percentages, ratios).

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Operate dishwasher and monitor wash cycles.
• Sweep, mop, and assist with general kitchen duties.
