Job summary

North Royalton Post Acute is seeking a Dietary Aide General Purpose to support daily food service operations. The role involves learning routines quickly, setting up meal trays, and assisting with serving, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly.
• Set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Assist with serving meals.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwasher at shift start.
• Observe dishwasher water temperatures during cycles.
• Operate dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop the kitchen.
• Carry out trash and garbage.
• Put groceries away safely and neatly.
• Leave kitchen clean and sanitary and assist cook or dietary supervisor as needed.
• Clean work surfaces and refrigerators.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors.
• Participate in orientation and training of dietary staff.
• Cooperate with personnel in all departments.
