Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain and maintain a food handlers’ certificate.
• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Operate dishwasher and monitor water temperature and chlorine levels.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; carry out food prep tasks as directed.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen and work surfaces clean and sanitary.
• Assist with orientation and training of dietary staff and cooperate with other departments.
