Job summary

Sur La Table in Texas is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to inspire customers through every stage of their culinary journey. With a passion for cooking, hospitality, and teamwork, you’ll support chefs, engage guests, and help run engaging classes in a clean, organized kitchen environment.

This part-time role offers 12–16 hours per week, including nights and weekends, and emphasizes guest experience, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of employment.
• 1 year retail sales experience preferred.
• 1 year food prep and/or kitchen operations experience preferred.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table by delivering memorable customer experiences in kitchen and retail areas.
• Assist chefs with class execution and ensure smooth operation.
• Maintain clean, organized kitchen and prep areas.
• Follow food safety standards and sanitation regulations.
• Aid in inventory, setup, and organizing supplies.
