Job summary

Sur La Table is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support chefs during classes, interact with guests, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen area. You will help deliver a high-quality, guest-obsessed experience and assist with in-store operations that uphold our standard of excellence in service.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of retail and kitchen-related experience, good communication, and a passion for teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail sales experience preferred.
• 1 year food prep and/or kitchen operations experience preferred.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Represent Sur La Table’s brand and culture by creating memorable, educational experiences for customers.
• Assist chefs with class execution to drive repeat visits and positive feedback.
• Deliver class revenue goals by ensuring high enrollment and guest satisfaction.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals to contribute to store revenue.
