Job summary

Auria Space is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer (1 or 2) to join the MSV-TASD program at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. You will develop ballistic and hypersonic kinematic threat models and document V&V activities while collaborating with systems and software engineers.

A DoD Secret clearance is required to start, with travel up to 10% for program needs. The role emphasizes modeling capabilities, GNC concepts, and aerospace flight characteristics within a dynamic, mission-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with relevant experience or advanced degree.
• Experience with trajectory modeling, verification and validation a plus.
• Active DoD Secret clearance at start is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop ballistic and advanced/hypersonic kinematic threat models.
• Apply engineering and mathematical algorithms to missile flight behavior.
• Document verification and validation of models and results.
• Collaborate with systems and software engineers across teams.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
