Job summary

Auria is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer to join the IRHB missile threat modeling team in Colorado Springs, CO. The role involves developing high-fidelity IR threat models and supporting MDA BMDS simulations on-site at Schriever Space Force Base.

The successful candidate will collaborate with threat stakeholders, engineers, and analysts, gaining exposure to data analysis, verification/validation, and tools automation while traveling up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline preferred with 2 years of relevant experience, or 0-2 years with a Masters Degree.
• Strong math, physics and engineering background.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Active US Government Secret clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience with threat model phenomenology focusing on IR signatures.
• Learn IR signature predictions and simulation models.
• Ensure data production supports MDA Ground Test Modeling and Simulation.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers and stakeholders for IRHB models.
• Contribute to VT & V processes and documentation.
