Job summary

Auria is seeking a Kinematic Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer to support the MSV-TASD program. This on-site role at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs requires working with threat modeling tools to develop ballistic and advanced kinematic models.

The position expects strong math/engineering background, MATLAB and Python proficiency, and the ability to collaborate with DoD customers while maintaining a DoD security clearance. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and travel up to 10%.
• Experience with modeling and simulation of ballistic missiles and GNC.
• Programming background in MATLAB, Python, LaTex.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop ballistic and hypersonic kinematic threat models.
• Apply engineering and mathematical algorithms to missile trajectories.
• Document Verification and Validation (V&V) procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
