Job summary

ASRC Federal Mission Solutions seeks a Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer to support the SWDC TPS/TMC at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. You will develop high-fidelity threat models and simulate missile trajectories using 6 DoF representations.

Requires a current DoD secret clearance, a STEM degree with relevant experience, and up to 10% travel. On-site work is mandatory with no remote option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 5 years of relevant experience, or MSc with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year.
• Active DoD security clearance required at time of application.
• Experience in modeling and simulation across missile defense systems.
• Knowledge of missiles and 6 DoF trajectory representation.
• Travel up to 10% to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-fidelity threat modeling products for defense systems.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to generate kinematic data for simulated trajectories.
• Support MDA BMDS activities and associated system interoperations.
• Operate on-site daily at Schriever Space Force Base with no remote option.
