Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a dedicated Academy/Child Center leader to ensure safety, engagement and smooth day-to-day operations for junior members. You will partner with the Kids Manager to deliver high-quality programming, events and a welcoming environment for families and staff alike.

The role requires strong customer service, team leadership and the ability to coach and develop a team, while managing staffing, inventory and event execution. Local Texas location is on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in teaching or children’s program.
• Experience in day care as lead teacher or two summers of camp with higher responsibility.
• Minimum 2 years in supervisory/management roles.
• Complete Kids On-Demand Certifications before start date.
• First Aid and CPR/AED certifications within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a safe, clean environment for Members and Guests.
• Assist Kids Manager with events/programming and drive participation and revenue.
• Manage Academy/Child Center payroll within budget guidelines and advise Kids Manager.
• Support Kids team with ongoing training, feedback and coaching.
• Handle casting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding of kids team members.
• Oversee inventory and ordering of supplies, toys and equipment for the Academy/Child Center and events.
