Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Framingham, MA is seeking a Child Center/Membership Academy lead to oversee safety, engagement, and daily operations. You will partner with the Kids Manager and team to provide top-tier service for members and junior members during activities and events.

The role includes supervising staff, coordinating programming, payroll management within budget, and ensuring a welcoming, safe environment for children and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years of experience teaching or working in a children’s program.
• 2 years of experience in day care as lead teacher or two summers of camp with increased responsibility.
• 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
• First Aid certification and Infant/Child CPR/ AED certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service and a safe, clean, and friendly environment for Members and Guests.
• Promotes and assists Kids Manager in events/programming and drives participation and revenue.
• Manages Academy/Child Center payroll within budgetary guidelines and makes recommendations to the Kids Manager.
• Manages and supports Kids team members by providing ongoing training, feedback, and coaching.
• Completes casting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of kids team members.
• Completes inventory and assists in ordering and maintaining supplies, toys, and equipment for the Academy/Child Center and events.
