Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Instructor in Warrenville, IL to deliver educational and fitness-minded programming for children from three months to 11 years old within the Kids Academy.

The role involves organizing activities, guiding games, and ensuring safe, engaging experiences for families. Responsibilities include classroom setup, attendance tracking, and communicating with parents, while promoting all junior programming.

Qualifications

• Less than a High School Diploma or GED is acceptable with required trainings.
• First Aid, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certifications required within 60 days of hire.
• Completion of all Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work.

Responsibilities

• Greets members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Instructs and organizes activities for children 3 months to 11 years.
• Prepares and sets up for classes and transfers kids to and from programming.
• Maintains attendance, development, and incident records.
• Monitors safety and environment; communicates with parents and team members.
• Promotes Junior programming to increase participation across Kids & Aquatics.
• Maintains Kids Academy areas by following cleaning checklists and restocking supplies.
• Handles incidents calmly and professionally.
