Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Instructor to provide educational and fitness-minded programming for children from three months to eleven years in the Kids Academy.

The role includes hosting parties and events, instructing activities, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for kids and families. Responsibilities include greeting members, guiding development through structured activities, maintaining attendance and incident records, and coordinating with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• Customer service and strong communication skills.
• Ability to engage a group of children in activities.
• 6+ months of teaching children ages 3–11 in similar programs or activities.
• Completion of Kids On-Demand Required Learnings prior to first day of work.
• First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with members and guests professionally.
• Instructs activities to foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Prepares and sets up for class and transfers kids to and from programming.
• Maintains records of attendance, development, and incidents.
• Monitors safety and uses positive behavior management techniques.
• Promotes all Junior programming to increase participation.
• Keeps Kids Academy clean and restocks supplies after class.
• Handles incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
