Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Instructor to deliver educational and fitness-minded programs for children from three months to 11 years old in the Kids Academy. You will organize, instruct, and supervise safe, fun activities, and may host parties/events.

Responsibilities include welcoming guests, guiding development through structured activities, maintaining attendance records, and promoting junior programming. A strong emphasis on safety, communication with parents, and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

Completion of all Kids On-Demand required learnings prior to first day.
First Aid/CPR certification required within first 60 days.
6+ months experience teaching children ages 3–11 in similar programs.

Responsibilities

Greets members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
Instructs activities to foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Prepares and sets up for class and transfers kids to/from programming.
Maintains records of attendance, development, and incidents.
Monitors safety and environment for toys, equipment, children, and surroundings.
Uses positive behavior management and communicates with parents and team.
Promotes Junior programming to increase participation across Kids & Aquatics.
Maintains Kids Academy areas by cleaning and restocking supplies.
Handles incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
