Job summary

Life Time seeks a Kids Instructor to deliver educational and fitness-minded programming for children aged 3 months to 11 years at the Kids Academy. The role involves organizing, instructing, and ensuring safe, fun activities and may include hosting parties and events.

You will greet members, monitor safety, and maintain records while promoting Junior programming and collaborating with parents and staff to support a positive, engaging environment.

Qualifications

• No high school diploma is required for this role.
• First Aid certification and Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet, acknowledge, and interact with members and guests professionally.
• Instruct activities that support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Prepare and set up for class and transfer kids to and from programming.
• Maintain attendance, development, and incident records.
• Monitor safety around toys, equipment, and surroundings; enforce rules.
• Communicate clearly with parents and team using positive behavior management.
• Promote Junior programming to boost participation across Kids & Aquatics.
• Maintain the Kids Academy and other areas by cleaning and restocking.
• Handle incidents and emergencies calmly and professionally.
