Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Kids Instructor to deliver engaging, safety-focused educational and fitness activities for children from 3 months to 11 years old in the Kids Academy.

You will organize, instruct and supervise activities, ensuring a positive, family-friendly environment and clear communication with parents and teammates. The role may involve hosting events and parties as part of the program.

Qualifications

• First Aid certification and Infant/Child CPR/AED required within 60 days of hire
• CPR/AED certification for all ages (Infant/Child and Adult) required within 60 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Greets, acknowledges, and interacts with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Instructs and organizes activities to foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
• Prepares and sets up for class and transfers kids to and from programming
• Maintains records of children’s attendance, development, and incidents
• Monitors and maintains a safe and healthy environment around toys, equipment and surroundings
• Uses positive behavior management and communicates with parents and team members
• Promotes all Junior programming to increase participation in Kids & Aquatics programming
• Maintains the Kids Academy and other areas by following cleaning checklists and restocking supplies
