Job summary

Books-A-Million in Wisconsin seeks a Keyholder to act as a limited Manager on Duty, supporting the management team and maintaining store security and operations. This role emphasizes customer service, staff supervision, merchandising, and daily communication with associates.

Candidates should meet high school diploma requirements and prior supervisory experience. You will assist with loss prevention, deposits, café coordination, and staff trainings and meetings, contributing to a well-run store

Responsibilities

• Maximizes profits and customer service by leading assigned category team and following company policies.
• Operates the store as a limited Manager On Duty with the management team.
• Maintains store security and is a key-holding member of management.
• Ensures high level of customer service and handles customer complaints.
• Maintains merchandising and cleanliness and ensures operational efficiency.
• Trains and develops associates within category and facilitates cross-training.
• Facilitates communication through daily briefings and meetings.
• Drops off bank deposit and handles change orders as needed.
• Picks up café grocery supplies as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
