Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Akron in Akron, OH is hiring a Keyholder/Shift Supervisor. You will operate the cash register, manage opening and closing procedures, and handle nightly deposits while ensuring accurate donation counts and daily statements.

You will inspect textiles and goods for resale, prepare items for display, and support program participants while upholding safety and customer service standards. This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
• Operate cash register, perform stock duties and provide customer service.
• Ability to drive and carry a valid driver's license and proof of insurance (preferred).
• Basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and POS system accurately and efficiently.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, and make nightly cash deposits as needed.
• Inspect textiles, items, and goods to determine sale ability; sort, hang, tag, price and prepare items for resale.
• Help promote the development of service participants and ensure safety and cleanliness.
